EyeClops Night Vision Infrared Stealth Goggles

Saw an article on these and they got some good reviews and are only about $70.

But it is a mono view and limited or narrow field of vision.

It would be great if this is a trend towards affordable night vision equipment.

Can you provide a pointer to the reviews? I did a quick search and it all came up with them as a toy.

Generation I monocular--a toy. Most Gen I units run $100-200, so the cost for this toy is at the low end for such devices.

Gen II starts around $1500, if I recall. At that price, you can also get digital night vision, but this technology is less advanced than Gen III. Gen III starts around $3000.

I don't price thermal viewers, but I've never heard of one that wasn't five figures. A cutting edge FLIR Recon III is $100,000, from what I was told--a really impressive piece of thermal technology.

For sixty bucks it seems that they would work.
I wonder if you could buy 2 and hack them together to get better depth perception?
