At least they seem to actually use the volume (unlike those fake C and D cells you can find in supermarkets, which are only larger cases around an AA body)

The price also seems pretty ok for 4 of them....

You could fit 4 of them in place of a 6V lantern battery in one of those little spotlight jobs you get for $2 at walmart... or you could put 4 of them in a 6D mag light :)

I've been on a quest for rechargeable F cells for years.

The holy grail of torch batteries.

Unfortunately, they are prohibitively expensive, probably because they are mostly used as traction batteries, where price seems to be no object.

One day, I'll buy some - but I'll keep scouring the internet for a decent price.

Oh, and shipping from the US is now either ruinously expensive now sea mail is no longer, or is not even available at any price.

I think those Tenergy cells are made in China, so getting them shipped from the US to Oz seems like taking the long way around.

Probably wouldn't fit into my Maha C-9000 charger, anyway.
