farka F8 opinions

I just got one of the Farka F8 3 mode lights, I was wondering if anyone else has any experiences with them and what they are using for batteries

Depending.
If Solarforce L2P is most of the time considered as a budget P60 host, then you have to consider the Farka F8 as a budget flashlight considering the relative prices.

They are nice lights. I handled one at a recent CPF meet. double O-rings at the tailcap and bezel, good anodize quality, smooth threads. Very good quality overall. Handling them reminded me a lot of the jetbeam lights.

I would consider them a budget alternative to a 18mm bored C2, which will set you back well north of $150.

Agreed, I can buy a nice "entry level" Surefire for what a Farka costs and nobody considers any light of their's to be a budget light! :ohgeez:

Since I am from Germany, I bought my FARKA F8 V5 from a German dealer after I read this review (http://translate.google.com/transla...farka-f8-v5-xp-g-r5-360-lumen-max&sl=de&tl=en). Although it is written in German language, you can use Google translator to read it.

In my opinion the FARKA F8 V5 is worth the money. Build quality is great, as well as the brightness.
