Fenix smooth VS op on T1

Any one have any experience with the T1 with a smooth reflector? I'm going to get one soon and was wondering if there is a big difference from the op.I wont be using it to look at white wall so artifacts are not a concern. Thanks

A bud of mine has a T1 with a smooth reflector and a second T1 with a op reflector. The OP produces a pretty perfect beam, whereas the smooth reflector allows for pretty good throw, but if you white wall it you'll see the beam artifacts.
