hi guys im a home inspector and im using a fenix tk30 with 2 18650 3300mah i like this light and it's size but i need something brighter. what do you guys recomend.

Really?? You need more than 630 lumens for house inspection? Well, in order to get a significant increase in brightness from your eyes point of view, you need to DOUBLE the lumens or more.

This means you need one of the Big Boyz. I would actually recommend you consider one of the triple XM-L lights available. I have a TK70 but it uses NiMh Ds, which doesnt really help since you have 18650s already.

I would check out the forums and find a decent one. The DRY 3x XM-L is well known for being driven hard, uses 3x18650s and puts out 2000 lumens or so. Other budget lights exist that are 2x18650/3x18650 and you can get one for under 100 bucks.

If you go with a non-budget light like JetBeam, etc, you will pay a FORTUNE.

Well, the Klarus XT20 comes to mind, as its more like 1,200 lumens, has multiple levels, and is a bit floodier, which is much better for inspections. It also runs on two 18650's, so you'd have what you needed for powering it, etc.

Are you sure you have it set to max? The TK30 has some confusing modes - Hunting, Camping, Searching... One of my friends came to firearms qualifications and was all upset at how weak his TK12 seemed - he didn't have it in the max mode (was confused by all of the different modes!) The light you gave the link to is running an MC-E LED - the same as in the TK30. TK30 has to be run on 2 x 18650 or 4 x cr123a with the extension tube to obtain its peak output.

yeah im sure .looks like my led may be bad then ill sent it in to fenix .just order a Spark SL6-800CW will see how i like it.thank
