I normally do not post a 'how does this compare to that' thread as most the time, a search will reveal the answer as there are great reviewers here. However, I've done a number of searches here and Google and can't find the answer.
So apologies for this basic question.
I have in hand a TK40. Very impressed. Perhaps it is a particularly good one but it has higher brightness than a hand picked Tiablo A9 in the hotspot - not to mention much larger. It also has lots of spill.
How does the M30 beam compared to the TK40? I'm wondering about :
a. Hotspot brightness.
b. Hotspot and spill size. The M30's head is much smaller and shallower so I assume both are larger but it's worth asking.
c. Total overall light produced at max setting?
The M30 is really pretty small, almost the size of the Tiablo A9 while the TK40 is much larger.
One more freebie question....are they going to redesign the driver of the M30 so that it is not PWM and more efficient? I'm into efficiency and the M30's driver seem to be less efficient than it can be.
Thanks in advance for any help.
