Field Day!

Anyone else doing field day this weekend? I've attened FD once before, but this is the first time I'm part of a planned operation - I think we're class A3, not sure (Multi Operator, Multi Radio, all battery)

Gear is packed except for the batteries, and they are on the chargers (two 110 Ah SLAs for me) - each of us has one or 2

probably 3a for our club.
will be at the wright state university picnic shelter in dayton oh.
public invited.all battery powered so no anoying generater racket to put up with.
in addition to the normal hf,v/uhf stuff we will have aprs,432mhz atv,psk31 solar power,ect,
talk in 145.110- pl67.0

I got burned out on clubs but usually visit a couple nearby setups. If they don't know how many QLFs I've gotten I might operate for an hour or so -- that's about my limit. de NU1X

Well, I'm NOT doing it with a club - working with ARES (I'm the Queens County EC) I've become friendly with a few guys - there is a group of 4 or 5 guys who go "upstate" to one of the guy's summer house, and they do FD out of the back yard. This will be my first year
