over and over agiain we go....
the 2/13 date is bogus. I have repeaetly asked pk (within the last hour), and there is no date. It could be this week, or several more weeks....
It is the same issue that SF expected to have resolved last NOVEMBER

I got my A2 while I was still in that "extended care facility" (a fancy term for "welfare nursing home"), I'd guess around early to mid December. I honestly haven't gotten around to testing it yet.

Will the E2e tailcap work with the A2 if I don't want the dual stage switch? That should make it a tad bit shorter.
and will there be an incandescent only bezel made? I still want an E2e/Digital with no LED. Or an M2D!

Any impressions on these "production" model A2s? Pictures of the reflector? Is it just about the same length as an M2? Does the bezel have a large diameter than the e2e -- that's what it looks like (which I guess makes sense).
This waiting is really getting to me, but the pictures help me live a little vicariously.

Are the bodies of the L1 And A2 larger in diameter than the E1/E2? They appear to be in the photo. I can't wait to check them out at the SHOT Show.

Yes, the L1 & A2 bodies are very slightly larger in diameter compared to the E2e body. Not nearly as wide in diameter as the standard body SureFires though.
The L1 Bezel is the same diameter and length as the E2e Bezel.

The L1 & A2 bodies have to be a bit larger in diameter than the E2e. The front end is blocked by the circuit so the batteries have to load from the backend.
