Actually yellow and blue is white. ;)
Yellow is Red light and Green light.
Blue is a primary light colour.

Hence why your monitor etc. has Reg Green Blue emitters to make up the picture.

Mik me up a gallon of white paint using yellow and blue and I will return it complaining you gave me green paint....I think were talking about different aspects of color blending

One of which is at least related to blue LEDs; the other is related to yellow pigments, not highlighter. But of course, there's no yellow lights or blue pigments in this scenario, and neither of them is related to shining blue light at yellow highlighter. We're talking fluorescence here. Stokes shift ring a bell?
