Fishing shops. A good source of Tritium.

It just occurred to me that, though I've always known it, I have never seen fishing tackle shops mentioned on CPF as a good place to buy tritium vials. Anglers use them as bite indicators on the end of their rods or floats. I found all sorts of different sizes. Perhaps you don't get them in the US as I just did a quick search and most of the English websites it pulled up were at .co.uk domains.

Still, if you are in the UK and want some trits...

Are they really trits?

The stuff that we use in Australia on the end of fishing rods are just the glow in the dark mini rods that you break to start using. This mixes 2 chemicals together to get the glow...

Yes. Really trits. Search for "gardner tritium max betalights". Gardner is one make but there is lots of others such as Drennan and Middy.

They come in all the shapes and sizes that you could want. Well, almost.

Also have a search for "Fox Micro lights"
These Tritium vials are 2mm x 6mm

Those are just glowsticks. Back in the day, I would use them at Raves
