Fitting 2 18650\'s into Surefire M4

I want to do this but I've never actually analyzed the dimensions of the light. Will the body be the only thing I need to bore out? The turbohead and TC can stay unaltered right? BTW, two 18650s is around 4mm shorter than 4 123A's.

I have toyed around with the idea of laser welding some short springs to the + terminal of an 18650. This would solve a couple of problems, shock isolation, reverse insertion, and making up for small dimensional challenges.

I am not sure about the other aspect of your question.

This idea had also passed my mind. Did you make any progress so far?

I think that you had to use the MN15 and MN16 from the M3T because the LAs from the M4 would need a higher voltage. Is that right?

I ended up not getting the M4 and trying this mod. I figured it was too little light for too much money.

I just bore the inside of my the M4 body and put the surefire M6 bulb MN21 in the turbohead and use 2 18650. It's a wall of light and recharge too.
Try it and you'll love it.
