Hi guys,

I've been wondering how many of you guys replace fluorescent light tubes in your homes with LEDs or fix LEDs here and there in your home to make it look nicer. I had seen a few pics here in several threads such as for kitchen cabinet, McGizmo's all-LED home, for greenhouse, etc. Will be great to see photos (and preferably HOW-TOs) of your LED artwork around your homes to give ideas to us all so we can take this hobby to a higher level :D

Hi ruriimasu! This is not an existing light replacement, but rather an add-on to a chandelier above the stairs in my home:

I used arctic alumina exopy to fix a Luxeon rebel neutral-white LED to the bottom nipple of the light. 24 gauge wire runs alongside the AC wiring to the attic, and then to my controller. I drive it at 400ma. It is set to do dusk-to-dawn. Here's a photo of the LED mounted, but not yet wired:

I used a coat of fingernail polish on the bottom contacts ONLY to keep them from shorting against the metal below. Drilled a hole in the part to route the wire through - looks tidy.
I have more home lights I will post soon.
Jeff
