Flashlight Collector\'s Convention

The 4th Annual Flashlight Collector's Convention is moving ahead nicely. Streamlight has taken a table. Other companies will be showing flashlights. Mag Lite has agreed to produce a special edition MagLite in honor of the convention and it will be available to the first 50 paid registrants. Tables are moving along nicely a $25.00 each. We expect to sell out, so if you want to sell or show flashlights, reserve it now. The dates are April 27 & 28, 2001, the place is The Lincoln Hotel in Reading, PA. This all takes place on the Renninger's Extravaganza antiques weekend a few miles away in Kutztown and on Sunday in Adamstown. 3000 Antiques dealers will be showing and we are letting them know that the flashlight collectors will be in town and looking for the great flashlights. email me for a show registration flyer. Of course, April 27 & 28 are the same days for Chiller Theatre (www.chillertheatre.com). Groan. Why do conventions always conflict with each other?

Would anyone consider changing the dates for next year? Otherwise, I'll be a permanent no-show, and I'd really love to come.

How much would it cost at the door to attend this event, and where can I obtain a brochure and directions?

The cost is a modest $5.00 and includes lectures, early admission, etc. The show admission is free. A table costs $25.00 and includes registration, early admission, etc. Mag Lite is preparing a special engraved flashlight that will say 4th Annual Flashlight Collector's Convention - April, 2001. They are also donating door prizes. Streamlight is taking a table and will probably have some door prizes. A few LED makers will be donating door prizes. The first 50 paid registrants will get gifts (you've got to be there to collect). Other registrants will be eligible for door prizes. email me your address and I will send a registration flyer.
