As subject, i need some helps to decide. Which one is smaller and run longer? Why would you choose RCR123 over 14500 or vice versa?

thanks.

Probably you will get the same runtime with either battery. Not as many clicky RCR123s as clicky 14500 out there. I prefer the clicky RCR123s torches as they are IMO more pocketable. You got the Fenix P2D and this one out there: https://www.kaidomain.com/WEBUI/ProductDetail.aspx?TranID=2353 Also protected RCR123s are cheaper and more available. Plus you can use regular 3v Lithiums that are common too. With a 14500 torch you can only use that or 1.2v-1.5v AAs.

14500 flashlight, of course:twothumbs
There are more battery options including alkaline 1AA, NiMH 1AA, 2 * 1/2AA NiMH, 3.0V primary Li Cell 14500, 3.7V rechargeable Li ion 14500, and 3.2V LiFePO4 14500.

That is exactly what confuses me AA has more options but CR123 is smaller as fo capacity they should be the same. AA usually a clicky CR123 is normally a twisty. I guess it just a matter of preference. I think I'll try both :)
