I have not been a connoisseur of flashlights. I have a question - I have an LED flashlight that has a snap action power switch that will interrupt the light at the slightest pressure (really really light). Is this either reasonable or common in flashlights?

it's definitely not reasonable, and shouldn't be common.. it should be solid enough so it doesn't interfere with the operation of the light in a negative way, or inhibit the usefulness of the light..

It's not reasonable or common in GOOD flashlights... but it could happen with cheap grocery store $1.99 flashlights.

What kind of LED flashlight do you have, alternety?
I run The LED Museum, and have used hundreds of flashlights, so I *may* be able to help here. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
