flashlights are like children

I have been a flash"o"holic for a while now

I have a bunch of lights I've collected

I use 4 of them on a semi-regular basis

here comes the good'ol "holiday season"

...my beautiful wife has a great idea... "why don't you put some of these flashlights you never use anymore up for sale?"

I don't know what I was thinking, but I said; "ok, I can let some go"
(note: I'm supporting my mother-in-law) (another note: and paying to keep her far away from here!)

I gather up all my lights and start 2 categories: keep ~or~ willing to let go... (my collection isn't that big; only 12 "CPF worthy" pieces)

First run...all 12 end up in the must keep category

Second run...2 go to the willing to let go category

Third run...I'm beside myself thinking...and I can let ANY of these babies go!

Fourth run..."honey, these are like children ~ I can't let any of them go!"

She said: "If they are like children, they all have proper nutrients and nurturing...so they are fully functional" - "the ones that don't light up are the ones you should sell"

I agreed and laid back on my sofa and dared her to find a one, and I would sell it. period.

Hee, Hee, Hee ...

Guess who isn't selling any flashlights!
