Re: === FlexMag & Mini FatMag & MicroMag T

I got the FatMag, 3AA to D, Lux 5, chrome color mod today. Another record shipping time! Oh, it does help that I only live 40 miles away.

Why is there a donunt hole in the beam? Oh, yeah, it focuses! The beam looks perfect!! And a little after glow ring from the glow powder is a very nice finish.

Wait until my friend, at work, see this one. He'll be very sorry he didn't get one. I couldn't ask for a cleaner, more professional looking, mod.

Great job!

Jonathan,

You and fivemega must be in cahoots. When fivemega is waiting parts for his new offerings (i.e. FM dry spell), you hit the market with all your new toys. When you are in development mode, fivemega hits the market with his new stuff.

Between the two of you, how's a guy supposed to keep up.

That being said, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paypal.gif for:

Mini FatMag-V (150+ lm) - Optimized for maximum brightness, 60+ minutes runtime. ($140), color - blue

MicroMag (80+ lm) (+$15 for MadMax+ WO & LuxIII TX1J replacement) ($65 + $15), color - copper

Jonathan,

I just wanted to tell you how much I am enjoying my Mini FatMag-V (150+ lm) and MicroMag (80+ lm). I love the Micromag - I just have two problems.

First, I have to figure out a way to EDC it without giving up any of my other EDC's - this is a perfect walk about light. Second, in some situations, it is so bright, that I wish it had a two stage switch.

"Modded Li-Ion Charger & 2x 14500 Li-Ion ($30)"

Does this charger have a seperate "walwart", or can it run off 240V?
Are the 14500's the 850mAh version?

Modamag:
I am looking for a light with maximum throw, what i had decided on was the Tri-star Mag Sc.
But now im considering one of the Fatmag V`s.
What will provide the best throw..
And are there a big diffrence between the Fatmag and the Tri-Star..
