I was going through my "Drawer-O-Lights" the other day when I came across my Nitecore Defender Infinity. I bought this around a year ago, played with it, decided I did not like the UI, then put it away. I had it in a little holster so never saw it when I went to do pick out a light to use. It almost felt like I got something free since I had forgotten I had it to begin with!!:):nana: I am now going to give this good looking fella another chance! Have any of you ever done this? I have so many lights, I guess I just can not keep up with all of them!!:grin2:

my P10C is hanging in my closet right now since I got my new T20C2

I've done this too. I have a Dosun R1 that I forgot I had - I put it to one side due to the low brightness vs what I thought it should have been. But now I've rediscovered it and it's not a bad light for some tasks - and a good one to lend out if people need to borrow one too.

Every now and then I'll grab a handful of batteries and fire up some of the lights that have fallen into disuse. Most remind me why they're not being used, but sometimes one will step up and be noticed.

When we have a power outage I dig into the drawer-o-lights and grab a handful to tailstand around the house. They also make good loaners.

I took my NDI out for a walk along the creek by my house last week. On 14500 it lit up the trail from side to side and far ahead. Very impressive. It may not be the latest and greatest, but it's still very impressive. I also carried my old Lux P1D for a while recently. Nice light, but not a low enough low or high enough high for me.
