Looking for a new Cree XR-E Q4-5A or 5B emitter.

Will be using it to mod my Fenix L2D.

Will pay via PayPal (from PayPal balance). You won't incur any fees that way.

Note: Thanks Slickseth, below, for your post. I updated my post and am now looking for a XR-E neutral, rather than the original XP-G cool.

Re: WTB: Cree XPG R5 emitter (for L2D)

You cam get bare xp-g r4 emitters from www.digikey.com and www.newark.com for $6-$9. Go to either site and do a search for "xpgwht". Also, you can get 8mm mcpcb's for the xp-e (same for xp-g) from www.theledguy.com for $2.

Mounting them to the board is easy. Just place the mcpcb in a frying pan. Set the frying pan on the stove. With the frying pan and mcpcb set in place, put t the emitter on the mcpb. Carefully center the emitter using a small screwdriver, tweezers, xacto knife or whatever works best for precise adjustment. Turn the stove on low heat. Watch for the solder on the +\- terminals of the mcpcb to melt (it will become shiny when it's melted. Quickly and carefully remove the frying pan and set it into another pan which has a small amount of water in it (this will help to quickly cool the pan). If you have been steady enough, the emitter will be centered. That's it, you're done.
