found p60 host. but will it work?

Re: whats the best ha3 light that can use p60 and 18650?

here's one for $13 that's NOT HA-III, but you might be able to slap an extra O-ring on it and improve waterproofness, might be able to send it to someone around here who does HA coatings...

it already comes with a 3.7V G&P lamp, so you can just drop a 18650 in and go, or change to a HO-4, EO-4, WE D26 3.7V, or whatever other offerings come about.

hmm. wonder if wolfeyes has anything.

Ultrafire C2 HAIII is a pretty good LED flashlight, runs on 1x18650 or 2xCR123 (brighter and better regulated on 2 cell, but shorter runtime) Output is a bit disappointing though on 18650 (100lumens fresh 18650, 75 lumens for the majority of the runtime -- it's buck circuit only from what I can tell, I added a forward clicky to it and am running Lithium primaries, as It's I light I leave in my car and only use for short bursts)

Haven't tested how watertight it is, but build quality is excellent for $26.10 (I have the Type II version for $22, the HA-III is probably on a slow boat somewhere in the pacific ocean...)

that is a really nice light, but unfortunately, i doubt it will fit a p60 bulb or a 6p head. does anyone know if vital gear f2 will fit 18650s? i doubt it.

The 18650s (18,3 mm) don't fit in a vital gear f2 (17,4 mm).

Re: whats the best ha3 light that can use p60 and 18650?

I would suggest the Wolf Eyes 6 series too, assuming you mean P60 size lamp (as a P60 wont run well of an 18650)

Re: whats the best ha3 light that can use p60 and 18650?

these are a bit pricey. would that cree p60 module fit in a fto1?

The Wolf-Eyes 6 series is reasonably priced. See here, for example.

only issue is waterproofness.
