Just finished this one up today when the driver came in the mail:twothumbs.
Specs are:
Silver/Gray 2 C Maglite
Borofloat lens
4x 18mm aluminum MOP reflectors
4x XPG R5
Download multisink
3 mode driver (low, med, high) with memory
Sleeve to fit 2x18650 cells
Recessed tail spring
Copper extension ring.
I wired this light using 22g teflon wire, 2 series 2 parallel, with one solid piece of wire per 2 leds for best continuity.
I put some AA on the threads of the multisink to help transfer the heat, and also used AS around the outside edge and base of the sink for maximum heat transfer. The heat moves very well to the head, and body.
The driver is 8x7135 wired 2s 2p for 1.25 amp per die on high 390ma per die on medium and 50ma per die on low.
I cut a groove in the outer edge of the tail cap so the spring would "snap" into it so it cannot fall out.
This light puts out an exquisite beam, with a large hot spot and bright spill.
I will do some outdoor beam shots tonight after work if needed.
