FS: Aleph2-2x123 custom blue & Chrome

For sale is a custom blue and Chrome (over nickel) Aleph 2 with 2x123 tube and DB500 driver and TX0J LED. This light puts out a great amount of light and will run reasonably cool and long on either 2x123 or a Pila 168S Li-Ion cell. The resistor is 60 ohm in the switch.

Don - Does Pila168s run this unit under regulation (DB500)?

I have not done a run test but I did check the Vf of the LED at 500 mA and it was just under 3.5 volts so the Pila should be driving it in regulation for most of its useful charge.

{The light did start out as all red but I wanted to make two lights out of one! I swapped parts with an all chrome unit and I felt the red body with chrome ends looked sharper than the red ends on the chrome body. The latter, I kept for myself.

Sorry but they too are already in service. The light you are getting is not the blue in the pic above but the body from the one second from the left, top row:
