None of those shots came out too well, but I updated the Flash with one shot (last picture) that has my HDS and Fenix both on. Hope this helps.. :buddies:

I saw that, thanks. What is your visual estimation of the brightness differences, if you don't mind?

One has to take into account that the Amber Fenix is I presume an Rbin and the HDS is a Tbin (I believe) calibrated to 60lumens on high.

With that in mind, when comparing the two, the HDS is about ~40% brighter to my eyes I would think, with a bit better throw due to the larger reflector. The Fenix (amber) is great for upclose (<10ft) work whereas the HDS is plain annoying on high up close.
