Re: FS: DragonHID 12 cell in blue

Jim, thanks for the kind offer. It is nice to know you would do that for me. I too am on the hook for the same lights that you are and some that have not gotten much airplay as of yet. But fortunately, I have found a new home for the DragonHID. It will be travelling to Germany to its new owner.

Thanks to all.

SOLD

Curtis.

Curtis, your welcome and congratulations. I'm glad someone appreciated the great bargain that was available. I would hate to see you have to accept my offer - it would make me feel very guilty.

I wish people would quit coming up with these great lights so fast in succession. Right now the ol' checking account is running on empty.

Guys

Either the 6 or 13 degree bulb can be gotten from trailtech.net for $46.24.

I just got the 13 degree bulb, and now the dragon is my favorite light to use around the house

Do you have a link to the bulbs? I didn't find them on the site, and when I emailed them I got:

[ QUOTE ]

We sell HID Light bulbs... 13 watt 6 degree and 13 watt 12 degree.
Part numbers are as follows

HID-SP-R (6 degree)
HID-FL-R (12 degree)

[/ QUOTE ]

Doesn't the DragonHID use this 10-watt bulb?

Jeff,

Great findings! I could start to abuse the light without worrying breaking the lamp:)

I can't take the credit for the find. In another thread, someone else posted about trailtech.

They use all W/A parts (ballast and bulbs) for what they call their MR-11 HID lamp systems

The only thing you need to specify is spot (6 degree) or flood (12 degree)

I guess I'll try them - I found a post on a scuba board explaining that some people call these 13-watt (for marketing purposes) since the ballast uses 13 watts.
