I'll apologize in advance...I don't own a digicam, so I can't post pics.

Up for sale is a red Aspherical Mag made by Mac! It is a side-switch version that has the following accessories:

LeefRing as seen here:
http://www.lighthound.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=2018

9" deep red paracord lanyard

Rubber glare-guard/bezel protector

1 protected 18650

You say you want "flood" as well as "throw"!? I'm also including a "Flood Head"! It consists of a brand new red Mag head that has a modified reflector (the cam has been cut off so the head will screw all the way down to the heat-sink) combined with a UCL-LDF from Flashlight-lens.com. Let me tell ya, this thing puts out one of the most impressive walls of light that I've ever seen from a single LED of ANY kind! Simply take off the aspherical lens head and replace it with the Flood Head.

This light provides the best of both worlds: Monster throw OR the proverbial "wall of light" flood!

To complete the "set", I'm also including the red Aspherical Mag's "baby brother": an early version, red bodied Inova X1 in EXCELLENT condition!

To summarize, this is what the set consists of:

Red Aspherical Mag w/side-switch
Flood Head consisting of a red Mag head with modded reflector and UCL-LDF
LeefRing
9" deep red paracord lanyard
Rubber glare-guard/bezel protector
1 protected 18650 LIon cell (fully charged so you can "play" right away!)
Red bodied early version Inova X1 (white LED)

All items are in EXCELLENT condition with no dings, scratches, bumps, bruises or marrs!

Price is $225.00 including USPS Priority shipping with delivery confirmation. Cash PayPal only; CONUS, AK and HI only, please...

PayPal addy: shortbaldnbad at msn dot com

First "I'll take it" posted here has priority...Thanx for looking!

Thanx, tanasit! I'll ship it out first thing in the AM...also, I'll add insurance to the package. Again, Thanx!

Hi,

I opened the box and was so exited about the red Aspherical that I forgot about the red Inova and almost threw the box away!

It works great and I like the rubber boot and the red landyard.
Thanks,
Tanasit

BTW, for the aspherical head, at 1 meter away my meter read 22000 lux and for the flood head = 278 lux.

Here are some pics:

tanasit...AWESOME pics! Thanx for sharing!

According to Mac, you should be getting lux readings closer to 50K on a freshly charged 18650. Then again, I think optimum beam convergence on the Aspherical Mag may occur at further out than 1M on it's tightest focus...I can't say for sure. I hope you're pleased with the purchase!

Edit: BTW, on "tightest" focus, you're hotspot should be square vice round. Try tightening the head until you get a square hotspot with just a hint of blue around the very outer edge of the hotspot. You're lux readings should increase significantly...

Sorry you're wrong, after I changed to a new battery and adjusted the focus down to 1 meter.....

the reading hovered around 74K to 79K.

WOW!!! Fantastic numbers...I hope I didn't send you a "bad" cell. The one I sent you only had about 10-15 charge cycles on it, and I sent it fully charged. Keep me posted if you continue to get low readings off that cell, and I'll make it right by sending you a new one!

Here is the proof:

Then I move a bit closer and look at the reading.....over 105K :grin2:
