I recently picked up an early Deft on the forums so Im selling my pre paid Deft that is ready for delivery from Saabluster. Selling for the same price I paid for $445 but without the wait.

This is just a note to the last 10 on the DEFT Enthusiast list who are waiting on their lights.

I have a new development on the lens front. As you know I am constantly trying to improve my quality and processes. In that vein I have found a better means of manufacturing the main lenses. The new lenses outperforms even the last update to the lenses when I added the AR coat. The only thing is that with this new method I am no longer able to apply the AR coat for technical reasons. The new lens has much less aberration and a more collimized beam across the spectrum. Since I sold you the light with the expectation of receiving an AR coated lens I feel you deserve the opportunity to choose.

I do not have any hard numbers to show you as I just finished the new molds but a side to side comparison shows there is definitely an improvement in throw with the new design. You paid good money for your lights and although it means I have to throw away some of the lenses already made I want you to get the best that I can offer.

It is with much sadness that I must place this light back up for sale. :shakehead I was so excited to see a legendary DEFT immediately available that I jumped the gun too quicky without consulting my significant other on this pre holiday purchase. So, a gorgeous DEFT available again at the same price as above $445 shipped. It will be shipped directly from saabluster. I am also going to post this in the CPFMP. It will go the first person to respond with a pm or post followed by a prompt paypal.
