Re: FS: Custom Ti light - Seoul-LED

Many people ask me about the costs from the light:grin2:.

Here are the costs:

Empty Ti light $450 (see also the sales thread)
NG750 + shipping costs $120
SS-Bezel $30
5x white trits + shipping costs $35
+ shipping costs to the new owner ~$15
Total $650

I think the price from $625 is ok. All parts are like new and unused.

And I forget to say: The original Ti-bezel is also included:D

Re: FS: Custom Ti light - Seoul-LED

I may be mistaken, but I believe max Vin for the NexGen is 6V, meaning it'll work with a single Li-Ion or two primaries.

Anything more then 3.7 V will direct drive LED until voltage drop.
Use of one primary recommended. Direct driving Seoul on 6V - NO GOOD.
Nice light.:thumbsup: Expensive too.:eek:

Hi donn:wave:,

here is the description from the shoppe:

The Aleph Cree XR-E LE has a fully-regulated NG750 driver which runs on 1 CR123 battery when Vin < Vout.

I think the NG750 will work only with one CR123?
Please correct me when I'm not right:). Thanks.

Re: FS: Custom Ti light - Seoul-LED

From the Shoppe's Converter Comparison Page:

Nexgen:

* Maximum Vin: 6V
* Maximum Vout: 6V or Vf which ever is lower.
* Output Regulation: Semi-regulation, Full Constant current regulation. Note1:
* Open Load Protection: No
* Output adjustable: Set by two SMT (0603) resistors. See Resistor Calculator
* Output Current formula: 0.05 / Rsense = Iout
* Efficiency: 80%~91%
* Maximum Output: 1A
* Vin overdrive voltage: Vout+0.7V
* Tallest Component: 3mm
* Compatibility: Sandwich, ECan, Aleph Light Engine
* Diameter: 0.55"
* Technology: SMT Components top side only, Battery anode pad backside

Note1: Safe mode is ~1.5A input current. If output doesn't go into full regulation it falls back to safe mode. For a Nexgen 750mA or Nexgen 1A, this critical starting voltage is ~3.4V. Input voltages above this will start the regulator into full constant current regulation and it will regulate down to ~2V input. A Nexgen 500mA will almost always start in full regulation mode.
