I’ve been carrying my G2L on my nightly walks clipped in my pocket bezel up and although very convenient, the fact that my M60 is exposed concerned me. Especially as I’ve removed the lens for improved performance.

I haven’t seen a bezel down clip that works very well with a G2L, so I started going thru my firearms gear and found an unused flip-open scope cap that fit perfectly.

So far, this mod has worked out nicely as I can flick the cover open as I pull the light from my pocket. Since the tailcap has an Mc2CS installed (30 ohm), I only use full output when needed, and if I require more than 10 minutes or so I can always pull the scope cap off and reinstall it later.

Any thoughts on this solution?

Grab yourself an o-ring and then put that NovaTac clip @ the other end:

Tried that early on but I could never get the clip to stay tight and still allow twisty tailcap function. Definitely won't work with an Mc2CS as it increases gap...

I have the same switch and have thinking of doing that for my G2. How did you mount the switch in the tail cap? Thanks.
