I came across my clip last night right after reading the key ring thread.

The "master clip" is something that works well for a variety of things.
Normally stuff is kept in the thick square end and you squeeze it to open. However if you squeeze it hard enough you can slide things down onto the round end.
It's almost a two hand squeeze so it is going to slow you down or stop you before it could accidentally open. Certainly safer than a caribiner
 
Looks interesting- too bad they're out of stock. Have you tried one? I'm wondering how secure it is for clipping to a pack or zipper.
 
Very secure and yes, I have one. Maybe if you fell out a window you might not, on the way down, notice any force strong enough to open the clip but in any normal situation it is very unlikley to happen and you will feel it.
