Hello, I'm new so goodevening to everyone (here is evening); first of all, sorry for my bad english. I have a question about SOX lamp. Premise I'm not an expert electrician or a physicist... so the question is: I love the sox lamp so I bought a 35W SOX lamp with ballast, ignitor and capacitor and i made the circuit; the lamp works very well. But it's possible that in the initial warming-phase it emit UV rays; because sometimes i have seen the lamp warming for a while and my eyes became like watching for 10 minutes directly the sun. I hope that the Lamp emits UV-rays only in the initial warming-phase when the two electrodes are blue and violet; after many seconds the electrodes become orange so maybe the UV-rays stop.
Thank you very much!
