The first two things that buzzed through my mind was 1) "80 gigawatts, Marty, we need 80 gigawatts!" and 2) "ribbed, for her pleasure."

On the other hand, the 80 minute runtime looks promising, but the output is the other half of the equation. The "range" can be doctored by careful reflector design, but if the output at that 250m isn't useful, it's gonna be a tough sell.
