Gladius and Tasklight 2L

For my first modding, I'm going to mod both of these lights. I'll be purchasing the emitters and Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Thermal Compound from PhotonFanatic. What soldering iron do you recommend? What else do I need? Thanks for your expertise!
