I wouldn't stir it too vigoursly either or you might get little air bubbles in it that won't come out...

I have had good luck with Weldbond glue.
Looks like Elmers white glue but it isn't.

Slow to dry, but very strong.

I glued a belt clip to the side of a 12volt 6.5ah gell cell battery and it holds up great.

I use it when RTV silicone or epoxy won't be good choices.

Ok, I bought some of those cheapie 3 cell lights on Ebay. All three have issues. The crystal has come loose and the light assembly shoots out of the end of the head. Tried pinging around the bezel to secure the crystal.

What Kind of glue should I try. RTV did not hold up and I think Super Glue will crack the lens. Any ideas?

Clear epoxy? I'd recommend the slow cure (overnight) and to apply it carefully with a toothpick.
