I see the advertisement for the 1 Watt Luxeon Star light from Golden Gadgets for 39.95. I have not seen a review or comments on that light.

If I'm not mistaken these are made by Nuwai,the same company that makes Streamlights 3AA luxeon Tasklight.If this is the case they might be a good buy,the Streamlight certainly is.

I would suggest that you can buy this light from a reputable delaer that will stand behind it and offer a no hassle warranty.
