I am looking a decent lantern that runs on 18650 cells... I don't have any specific specs other than good value, neutral/warm tint, and decent CRI (80+).
What cells do you use... button top? protected?Sofirn BLF LT1! 4x 18650 with tint ramping Samsung LH351D LEDs (90+ CRI I believe) 2700k - 5000k I believe.
They are unprotected button tops. It's worth buying the ones they sell with the lights given the pricing of 18650s lately. Do note that it is recommended that you use a matched set of them. What cells do you use... button top? protected?
The LT1 can run on four, three, two or even a single 18650 cell on all modes. ( though as expected running on lest cells will shorten the run times consecutively in all output settings. (roughly based on subtracting 25% for each cell also minus about 5% when on a single cell. - DBSARlightAny good options that run on a single or at most two 18650s? I realize the Sofirn BLF LT1 can run on less but if I recall the manual states it doesn't recommend it cause of voltage issues.
