New to forum. Basically a shooter. Interested in sure fire for night shooting with a pistol. Sure fire Z2 came highly recommended. Looking for supplier with good price and service. Seems I get into website and they don't list price and/or don't list phone numbers. I am old fashion and like to talk on phone esp when I am not familar with product and like to assure in stock and no back orders. Any help appreciated.

hey bill, fellow GT'r here, take a good look at the c-2. i just got mine and couldn't be happier. i got the new hard anodized. i went with it because of the clip(don't need a holster) and the finish is cool.

got it from lagger-pro, they had the lowest price and free shipping. they were lower than all others BEFORE shipping!

let us know what you get.

I hope I don't change the subject here, but if you don't mind sharing 5BY5, what were the reasons not to get the ZR-1 kit?

Wayne said that the KR-1 isn't all that bright and by the time you add the adapter the light is 7" long. So I figured for the same length I would get the 8AX which would also give me 110Lumens for 50 minutes and an extra battery(KR-1 kit comes with only one battery). And I really like the looks of the 8AX in black which is the type III finish. The super duper really long lasting extra tough almost lasts forever finish(you get the idea). I like the type III finish so much it is my first choice. So I get a black light and the cool finish. I like the looks of the the light, something simple yet graceful about this model.

All this and all ya asked about was the KR-1.

PS billcameron I agree with switch 625 no matter which Surefire you pick take the HA finish the light will look new for much longer.

Listen to what the man says. I just heard from Gary at Arizona Gun Runners that Surefire has dropped BotachTactical from its approved dealer list.

I'd like to put in a special plug for Brightguy. Greg did me a real favor today; absolutely super service.

Don't let the name scare you off. You may find lower prices at Botach tactical. I have no experience with them myself but they get the award for the highest standard deviation in customer satisfaction. People love them or hate them.

Try Arizona Gun Runner or Texas Tactical S upply. Both sites list prices(that are low) and will talk on the phone. Both are good guys and I belive both LEO's. Also check out Brightguy. Beware BotachTactical(extra low prices, extra low service.
Oop's I see fracman beat me to the post.

If you don't know alot and nees someone to talk to call Wayne at http://lagger-pro.com/ . I called him Wed. night just to get some info and ended up talking to him for an hour and not once did he try to sell me anything. When I called him back later in the evening and told him I wanted a ZR-1 kit(converts the G2 into a rechargeable) he told me I wouldn't be happy with it. His honesty surprised me because he was talking me out of buying something. Also all his prices already include shipping and until 1/31 all Surefire lights include an extra set of Surefire batteries.
