I have been debating having a Gossamer built, but got a great deal on a

Malkoff mc-e warm and like the beam, however am still curious about the
Gossamer.

I have a creemator and like the size. I also like the idea of the ultra low and

the medium on the Gossamer so when it gets hot you have more than the

low. How do the beams compare on these ? I've seen a lot of beam shots of

them separate, but hope to find someone with both lights.

I think the Malkoff is driven harder, but not sure about difference in otf

lumens. I 've seen MrGmans numbers on the Malkoff, but not sure what to

expect from the Gossamer otf after it settles.

I don't have them to compare anymore but my Gossamer was a fair amount brighter than my MCE. It seemed to be well regulated as well holding it's perceived brightness for most of the time I would use it. I liked my Gossamer more than the Malkoff but the M60 MCE is a very good option for it's price.

Thanks Viper.

How was the throw between them ?

Did you replace your Gossamer ?

The Malkoff MC-E P60 drop-in is all flood. At 480 confirmed OTF lumens it is very bright, but with limited throw. Gene drives the LED in those at 2.4A and drives the P7 Mag drop-ins at 2.8A.

What is the current on the Gossamer builds?
