Thinking of buying one of these green laser pointers from here,

sp3-plus

Site:-
http://www.sp3plus.co.uk/

Product:-
http://express.clickandbuild.com/cnb/shop/sp3-plus?listPos=&op=catalogue-products-null&prodCategoryID=1

Wondered if anyone had bought one of these and if they were any good?
I read somewhere that for the same output as a red one, they appear to be 5 times brighter, is this right?

£107 does seem a good price for a CW green laser.

Green lasers appear a lot brighter than red ones and in dark conditions you can normally see the beam as well as the dot.

You might want to look here http://www.skypointer.net/
I've used one of Howie's lasers for a year
to point out stars to others and I'm very
satisfied with it and with the dealings
I've had with Howie.

I worked with this company a while back, It's a one man band, a friendly guy called Brendon Fahy (His pic is on the site homepage).
sp3plus homepage

He has been in the optics and electro optics industry for donkeys years. I know his customer service is excellent and the laser pointers are effective.

The thing that makes Brendon different is the price and service, he's not greedy on price and offers a simple refund or replace guarantee. I know he also services alot of research places so the Green Laser Pointers must be good!!

Sorry if this reads like a sales letter (it's not meant to be!)

I'd personally recommend him to anyone.

Let me know how you get on!
