Trying to find out the manufacture of it.

Class IIIa i bought it off of ebay as a Leadlight laser, but it mentions nothing anywhere about it being a leadlight, it's got a green LED when you press the button and you can barely see a beam, it's got that APC thing.

Are these lasers also modable?

Thanks...

I bought a couple Luckyduck green lasers.
I know they are Leadlights, but the name "Leadlight" is not printed anywhere on the laser itself or the packaging.

The laser and packaging you got look essentially identical to other Leadlights, so I would say that it is a leadlight, and it should also be moddable.

I modded my luckyduck leadlight 110 with the pot mod and transistor jumper mod.
It is significantly brighter and has a visible beam now.
The modded laser does fluctuate a little though (usually for a few seconds right after you turn it on). From what I read though, that is common.

I imagine I might be able to make it even better if I go through the work to do the othe mods (put arctic silver on the heatsink, and align the crystal and epoxy it). I don't think I'm ready to do that just yet though.

This is the first time I have modded a laser, so it was a pain in the *** for me to even get it to this point.

Guess what, it worked :)

It now seems at least 3 - 4 times stronger, however the instructions said to turn it clockwise for this model (with apc/green led) so i tried to do it, almost broke it, turned out it had to be anti clockwise like the older models, and it works very nicely now :)

(appart from the fact i dropped it leaving a couple of dents in it and the drill bit scraping off a bit of metal, all well and good)...
