Hello, Im new to this forum and am amazed at all the knowledgeable people. Can anyone possibly tell me their experience with the 51mw greenie from Lasertechs Dwight Finney. I am looking to purchase several of the 51mws and would like to know if everyone is still happy with theirs? Are you happy with the service you received. It is a major purchase, so any info would help considerably. Thank You CC

I purchased my greenie on nov 8 and received it on nov 28. It seemed to go very din and not heat skin or melt black plastic as i was told it should. I sent it back to Dwight Finney and he said it could be fixed in a day. I emailed him for an update and called him on Dec 18 and have received no reply from email yet and his phone was not taking messages when I called. I am trying both messages again today. He received my laser for repair on monday Dec 16. Ill gladly post when I hear from him. Any how for the time I had my greenie I was very happy.

Talked to Dwight about 1/2 hour ago, USPS deliverd later than I thought. Dwight said he will pick up greenie today and ship it back to me possibly today.

Thank You for you replies Rotten Ron. You are the only one I have to form a base of confidence on as far as green lasers go unless someone else posts. Could you please let me know as soon as you get your laser back from Dwight and if you are happy with it? Many Thanks again CC

Just spoke to Dwight. Laser was out of alignment and not a big problem, this kind of thing happens sometimes during shipping. Me being new to greenies didnt know what to expect from a greenie so it will be better than before. WOW cant wait. C.C. Ill post as soon as I receive it.

I ordered a 5mw from Dwight, reeived it promptly, and am very satisfied.

How much was the 5mw greenie and what do you think of its beam at night? Also, how durable do you think it is (would it handle being carried around in a backpack?)?

My laser is currently being shipped to Dwight to have some work done it. (I didn't buy it from him). So I cannot say what the 51mw units are like - but I have always got very prompt replies to any questions I have emailed to him and I do remember reading some good feedback about him on the board. I would suggest doing a search as well to view older comments that may be more then a few pages back.

Rotten Ron, during my search I read about a radio shack bag burn. I am hoping my greens will do that also. Will you try it with your green when you receive it? That seems like a great selling point to me.

No problem, when it is delivered I will try it right away. Rad shk bag is sitting on table ready to go. I was hoping to have it for Christmas but thats not gonna happen.

Camclad, Dwight promised to overnight my greenie to me on Thursday(12/26/02) so i will do radio shack bag thing and post on friday(12/27/02). Im sure you will love your greenies. Im certinly interested in a m*gl*te version. I dont see anybody else offering anything like it any where. SeeYa Merry Christmas

I had explained to ron the the day I shipped his laser I missed the next-day deadline. feel free to ask the other cpf member in the highpower hand held lasers who have purchased my work . Please wait until ron writes his comments on his 63mw laser.
