Grips for SL Luxeon Task Light

It's been pointed out that the cutaway rings machined into the barrel of this flashlight look cool but are useless for increasing grip. It suddenly occurred to me that you could snap some neoprene o-rings into these grooves and give the barrel some serious gripping power.

And even if it didn't make the flashlight easier to grip, it'd look pretty cool, and that's something.

I did just that. I went to Lowes, and found some Danco O-rings in the plumbing section, size 12 and 13, if I remember right.The fit my 3AA and Lithium bodies nicely. They were around $ 1.50 per package of 10.

Went back and found some big ones to fit my 3C TT.

Nuwai lights had these O rings on them.
