Gun-mount Fenix

Hi All, Been a long time since I posted, so here it goes.

I spent a good part of the afternoon searching the forums for this, but I haven't found anything that quite answers my question.

Has anyone ever tried mounting a Fenix TK-10 to an AR-15 or similar style rifle? How well does the Fenix take the shock/vibration?

Also, I'm looking to mount it to a picatinny/weaver style rail. Are there any recommendations for mounting rings for this style light? Most every mount I've seen is for a 1" diameter light. The specs on the TK-10 put it at 34mm or about 1 1/3 inches. (I think this may be the part that kills the idea, unless anyone already knows of a mount that would work.)

Any insight is appreciated.

Don't know about the light but I'm sure a 34mm scope ring will work to mount it. :thumbsup:

He seems to have a TK10 on his AR15, so you could probably ask him how he mounted it, and how it works for him.

Might want to double check, but I think that diameter is for the head, not the body. I seem to recall some standard mount fitting.

It appears that the 34mm number is, in fact, for the head. The body of the flashlight is about 1", meaning just about any standard flashlight mount works!
