I had just taken the 3x17670 holder off of the charger and was starting to screw on the little cap where the plug is and the metal put a couple of small sparks out. For 1/2 second it gave me a scare. No big deal I guess, what was the reason for the sparking though?

Sure the batteries are in the right way?

Sounds like you bridged positive and negative terminals. Did some insulation wear off around the plug?

:caution:I'd say it is a big deal:caution:
3x li-co cells is a quite bit of power, don't want that getting out of hand. I dunno what cap you were screwing, but please consider it as if you got off lucky with a warning and do find out the cause.

Maybe I should be more concerned... I was screwing on the gold cap that is on the Fivemega holder. I still don't know what would cause a spark...
