Has Anyone Ever Reported a La Crosse BC-700 Meltdown?

I just did a 'CPF Only' Google Search with the keywords: melt OR mosfet bc700 OR "BC-700"

...and didn't find any reported (by scanning just the 22 titles and summaries).

• Has anyone who owns both a BC-700 and a BC-900 opened them up to compare the MOSFETS?

• On the same note, has anyone who owns both a BC-900 and a BC-9009 opened them up to compare the MOSFETS?

• The Amazon.com / La Crosse BC-9009 'Meltdown' fiasco appears to have come and gone.
  (i.e. finally fizzled down)

• La Crosse BC-900 'Meltdowns' appear to remain few and far apart.
  .
• La Crosse BC-700 'Meltdowns', as of this date, don't yet exist.
