Given the number of misleading and conflicting claims in the description, I think your money is better spent elsewhere.

...and if i've read correctly in the past the RC-T6 did not display the relatively high reliability that many of their other lights have. and 1500lm is absolute bullshit....that light would fry itself if all those were being driven that hard.

I was talking to BC about that... and he said he gave the T6 to his brother. Who uses it as a garage work light and its been as reliable as anything.

At least I think thats what he said (my memory could be fading) Its not 1500L.. that much is sure.

The sindrom of only two leds burning if batteries are not fresh is cured probably due to new driver

I got it of ebay for $52. It earned my trust when I took it to a cave. A great plus is a side switch.

I hate my T6

I love my T6

a wall of light that you can't beat without HID or WA1185 (haven't seen Luminus) - OLight M30 can't hold it's photon jock

and requires more maintenance than my boat

your money, your call...

bogey out

i guess i better leave it alone then
perhaps I wasn't clear. Recent version of this light (got mine in Dec.09) has "T0 V9" driver and in six leds mode all six leds burn no matter how full the batteries.
