Nothing wrong with mine but what if I lose it?

Get two (or more) of anything you like that WORKS! For by the time you need another it will have been redesigned, discontinued or otherwise "F"d up!

it got replaced by the pd20. basically a updated second generation with mildly scalloped bezel and such.

The PD20 is replacing it as mossyoak said. Of you like the P2D and dislike the PD20, grab the P2Ds while you can.
