I' m trail running on very rough rocky dirt roads with Indian toe free sandals with an old petzl tactikka and ni-mh batteries and after nearly breaking my right big toe a few days ago on a rock i didn't see 
, i' m looking for a headlamp with serious light, most preferably one with separate battery unit that can be attached to a belt.
I was looking at the fenix hp20 but after reading about the dead hp10 i' m not so sure any more.
also looking at the petzl duo belt 14. about this light, petzl notes lumen only for the 14 leds (67 lumen). does anyone know the halogen lumen? (btw petzl server appears to be somewhat down atm)
any other ideas?
