There has been discussion about essentialy the same light in the Bike section.

Bottom line is that for a high powered light for the price it is very good. Not 900 lumen but probobly a good 600. Runtimes are as advertised.

For headlamp use I don't know that the quality of the headband is, the fact that there is no overhead strap may lead to some movment on the head if running but modifying the strap should not be hard.

If there is no airflow this light will overheat but running or biking no trouble.
