Nice that you post a pic of your tools! The only thing you can't protect with those tools is your wallet!!
Consider yourself WARNED!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif

Hey... Techmedic...
Yea you are right my wallet sure does take a beating ... LOL

Yea I joined the Army in 88 as a Medic 91B10 ... in 90 I deployed to the Gulf with my MEDIC Platoon HHC 3/37 AR 1st BGE 2nd BATT. 1st Infantry Division (The Big Red One)
I was attached to an Armored Scout Platoon (my secondary MOS 19D10 Scout) and spent much of the War in the back of a Bradley Fighting Vehicle. We were the lead element in our sector through the breach in the Neutral Zone on the border of Iraq and Saudi. We engaged the Republican Guard on three occasions while making the “Left Hook into Kuwait. After tearing through the Iraqi retreating forces heading north from Kuwait back to Iraq we took the airfield in the town of Safwan before ending our northern forward progress about 50 km south of Basra.
I discharged active duty in 96 and I am now in the Guard and getting ready to go to my AT @ Ft.Drum. And there are serious rumors that the unit may be activated... We will see..
I was awarded the Combat Medical Badge ( http://www.americal.org/awards/cmb.htm ) in 91 pretty proud of being a CMB recipient …so that is where I got my sign on name. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

CMB Site I am a member at http://www.combatmedic.org/

The main reason I joined the Military as a MEDIC was that my Uncles Next door neighbor and my High school teacher was Gary Beikirch. http://www.homeofheroes.com/moh/citations_living/vn_a_beikirch.html
He was DEFINITELY my role model growing up

Combatmedic,

Never been under fire, but I do know what it is like to go for over 24 hours without sleep, and then work very hard with relatives and bystanders screaming to save someone's life.
Congratulations on the award, and I did take the time to read the criteria. Even though I am a Canadian, Thank You for your committment and efforts.
Gary is an awesome role model. I sure you would do the same given similar circumstances, no doubt.
Hope that the only "fire" you see in the next while is Surefire.... or that from the red spots you see testing lights!
