I have seen reference to CPF on many forums and thought I would check this site out. Man, you folks sure know your lights, huh?

Anyhoo, I was given a Surefire light for Christmas and really like it. Came here looking for information on the 123A batteries it takes. Seems like I have come to the right place.

Man, I hope you folks don't think I'm ignoring you. I think I'm in that there required waiting period. In the meantime, I've been reading about lights! Seems like you folks wrote ALL the books on them!

What did you get?

I was given a Surefire 6P. That little thing sure is bright! I shoot IDPA and always wanted a light to practice with for the night scenarios. Now, I got myself one. I think it is so bright that it could easily change the 3 guys with axes sneaking up on my campsite at night to hack me to pieces into 3 racoons running through the adjacent corn field.

I guess I could spend hours reading this forum to learn more about lights and things. Lots of information here and I apprecaite all of you sharing your knowledge and your time with others.

I figure if I get lost in the maze here, I could just turn on my new light??
